This is a piece of artwork that I did for my grandparents. It started out as my first abstract work, and evolved--as it usually does--to something with a person in it.
 This will not be available as a print until I can fix some of the calibration issues due to the size of the original scanned in!Time: approx. 7 hours Media: watercolours, acrylics, salt, iridescent medium, masking fluid, and pencil. Original size: 18x12 inches Side note: The "grey" stripes in her hair are actually washes of iridescent medium. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
